Hello! My name is Kayla Tull and I am currently a Master’s student at the International Institute of Orthotics and Prosthetics. I am based in Tampa, FL and will graduate December 2026.

I completed my Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Health Services at the University of Georgia’s College of Public Health in May of 2025. My background in Public Health has allowed me to gain knowledge on preventative medicine, health disparities, behavioral factors, and research. I also had the privilege of volunteering for various public health related programs. These programs have given me experience in clinical settings, therapeutic settings, and community outreach. This foundation has allowed me to approach health care with a critically thinking, yet compassionate lens, always keeping the needs of diverse populations in mind.

I also studied Piano Performance at UGA’s Hugh Hodgson School of Music and Music Business at the Terry School of Business. My music background has strengthened my manual dexterity, cognitive abilities such as memory, attention to detail, and creativity, all while providing a stress-relieving outlet.

Upon completion of my didactic instruction, I hope to continue pursuing my career through residency and then as a certified Orthotist-Prosthetist. I also hope to complete officer training through a military reserve career. I am passionate about my country and caring for those who risked their lives in service.

Personal

Outside of the classroom or clinic, I usually spend my time either playing a sport or with my pets, friends, or family. As a former tennis player, I spend most of my time participating in pickleball tournaments or playing recreationally with friends. I was raised in a golf-loving family and love to spend time on the course or range as well. As a proud graduate of the University of Georgia, I am a die-hard Bulldogs fan and love to watch them on game days.

I play the piano, guitar, and violin, and usually practice some instrument at least once a day. I also enjoy attending church, reading, crocheting, and watching historical documentaries or science fiction movies.

While I have spent the majority of my life living in Dalton, Georgia, I was originally born in South Korea and adopted at six months old. My family later relocated closer to Chattanooga, TN and still reside there. I have two older brothers and a soon-to-be sister-in-law. I also have three pets that currently live with me: Coco, Ebony, and Mayo. They keep me very busy and are the best company for long study sessions!
